Composé de 72 % Chardonnay, 14 % Meunier et 14 % Pinot Noir, il exprime équilibre, finesse et complexité. A blend of fruit from Sélèque’s seven vineyard parcels, the 2019 Partition 7 Parcelles is Chardonnay-dominant, complemented by 14% each of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. The wine opens with aromas of candied lemon zest, pear and brioche mingling with notes of Madagascar vanilla and cedarwood oil. Vinified in 50% new oak sourced from Atelier Centre France, Cavin and Taransaud, it was disgorged in August 2024 with a dosage of three grams per liter. Full-bodied, concentrated and enveloping, it reveals a fleshy yet saline profile, brimming with natural sweetness despite its Extra Brut designation. Ripe yet racy acidity lends energy and structure. With its generous personality and charm, this cuvée holds considerable aging potential and is poised to win many admirers.
