The 2022 Morgon Côte du Py Les Impénitents stands out as one of the finest from the 2022 vintage, leaping from the glass with aromas of ripe blackberries, candied peel, dried jasmine, rose petals and thyme. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied and laced with succulent acids and fine wispy tannins, opening to reveal a layered mid-palate complex with flavor. It has a subtle tension that binds the flesh seamlessly with its structural components. The wine is long on the palate with a persistence of flavor that elegantly fades out on the finish.
